I am a PhD Candidate in the Committee on EvolutionaryIMG_3604 Lu washing elephant Biology at University of Chicago and am based in the Department of Anthropology at The Field Museum. I have been conducting research on island dwarfing under the guidance of Dr. Robert D. Martin since 2009, when I was an undergraduate at Northwestern University. Specifically, I am looking at skull morphology changes in mammals from Southeast Asian islands in comparison to the mainland by using a combination of allometric scaling, 3D geometric morphometrics and ancient DNA next-generation sequencing techniques to answer my research questions. Explore this site to learn more about my research or travels, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
